DELIVERY AND RETURNS

We pride ourselves in sustainability and understand the importance of having quality and ethically made pieces. Please allow up to 1- 2 weeks for your order to be made and delivered, the time frame will vary on the volume of orders we receive. Our pieces are individually hand-cut, hand-sewn with love, and made to order just for you. Your order will then be shipped out and a tracking number sent to you.

We ship worldwide. After your order is placed there is a response time of 24-48 business hours. Once your order is processed a confirmation email will be sent to you with tracking information.You can also find your shippingg details by logging into your account. Please note that while we don't foresee any delays after the parcel has shipped these events may occur. Please contact us in the event your shipment is delayed and we will be happy to help track it.

Both shipping costs are calculated based on the geographical location of the delivery address and the total weight of parcel. Please follow the checkout options to receive your calculated rate and estimated delivery time. Electronic signatures will be captured upon all DHL deliveries. Please note that customs fees will apply for DHL shipments according to local legislation. Abiye Tara does not enforce these fees, therefore we are not able to waive fees upon delivery. Failure to pay customs fees will result in the parcel being sent back to us in which case the shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Please check with your local courier for more information on how COVID-19 directly affects your shipments with us.

All our international deliveries are handled by DHL, SEND PARCEL AFRICA. Interstate deliveries are handled by GIG logistics. Reliability is key, which is why we use a signed-for delivery service. Please make sure you or someone you know will be present either at a home or work address to accept your delivery. If no one is in, we’ll make sure we leave a card so that a re-delivery can be arranged, or you can collect it from the depot. Please do not refuse a delivery. Unfortunately, refused deliveries will incur a cost of the original delivery plus the return cost. Any refund made will be minus the total delivery and return cost in the case of refused deliveries.

Items bought on ABIYE TARA.COM can be accepted for a refund within 14 days of the delivery date. All merchandise must be received back in its original form. Clothing must not be worn, altered, damaged, or free of stains, odors, self-tanner, pet hairs, or distinct smells including deodorant and perfume. As our items are all handmade to order kindly ensure that you have chosen the correct size on our size chart to prevent any complications. In the case of a bespoke option ensure to send in your correct measurements. You can also check our how-to-measure tutorials on our website and social media platforms for further assistance. We ensure to cross-check and inspect each item before it is sent out for any malfunctions. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment type, excluding shipping and handling costs. All tags must be attached when returned. In the event your item is damaged or defective [we're deeply sorry!], Please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery and we will gladly process a return, exchange, or make amends. Any international returns received later than 20 days(editable) from the received date will be returned back to the sender. Note: items must be unwashed, unworn, and free of stains or odors.
